Samos, the birthplace of Greek philosopher Pythagoras, is located just a stones throw across the blue Aegean Sea from Kuşadası.
Spend the day exploring this incredible island, with so much to see and do the choice is yours; perhaps you’ll enjoy the day at the stunning “fishing” village of Kokkari, teeming with taverns, cafes and restaurants you will dine in style with the waves lapping at your feet as you take in the picturesque surroundings! Or you you could explore the Ancient history of the Island by visiting the Heraion temple of Samos or the Ancient tunnel of Eupalinos, the first of its kind in the world, both dating back to the 6th century BC!
Samos is famed not only for the richness of its history but also for its stunning beaches with crystal clear waters and it’s impressive landscapes!
Samos is said to be one of the most beautiful of the Greek islands; with ancient history at every turn and incredible beaches, it’s obvious as to why it is one of the most popular Greek tourist destinations.
Daily trips to Samos;
We travel from Didim to Kuşadası taking the 08:30 ferry to Samos.
The ferry takes approximately 40 minutes. You will then have all day free to enjoy the island! Catching the 18:00 ferry back from Samos to Kuşadası arriving at approximately 18:40, where our transport will be waiting to take you back to Didim.
